Overview

Eurohaptics 2026 invites original, high-quality submissions covering all scientific, technological, and application aspects of haptics. Contributions can be submitted in the following forms:

Type of contributions
  • Regular papers (up to 9 pages) and Long Papers (up to 18 pages)
  • Work-in-Progress (WIP) Papers
  • Hands-On Demonstrations
  • Workshops and Tutorials
  • Published Research Track

Topics of Interests

To ensure a good match between the papers and the reviewers, each submission will be considered by one of three subcommittees:

*Understanding Touch: Focuses on advancing the scientific understanding of touch and related capabilities in humans and other organisms. Topics include, but are not limited to: human haptic perception, psychophysics, neuroscience of touch, and biomechanics and motor control.

*Technology and Systems: Covers the development and characterization of new technologies and systems for haptic feedback and interaction. Examples include: haptic interface design and control, tactile displays, haptic sensors and actuators, teleoperation, robotic manipulation, haptic modeling and rendering, shared haptic control, and physical human-robot interaction (pHRI).

*Applications and Interaction: Explores the design and impact of haptics in specific applications and interactions. This includes: human-computer interaction (HCI) with haptics, multimodal systems, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), teleoperation and telepresence, embedded/ubiquitous haptics, and haptic applications in fields like industry, commerce, medicine, healthcare, art, and design.

Important Dates

We have extended several deadlines to account for the current challenging geopolitical situation. WIP, demos, and previously published papers submissions will be evaluated on a rolling basis, allowing additional time for those who need it while providing timely decisions for authors ready to submit.
